Arrogant or Elitist ~ Which is it?

Well we have a new word for Barack Obama this week.

Now he is not only arrogant but now he is an elitist.

Coming from Hillary Clinton and John McCain, the true dream team, who have enjoyed nothing if not a very privileged existence, would be laughable were it not filled with hypocrisy.

What he actually said and what she summarized are entirely different. Perhaps she misspoke, like she did concerning her “landing under fire” Perhaps it was a new tactic to ingratiate herself with a working class she has no hope of relating to. Hard to believe they play for the same team.

Appears she is more in step with McCain.

More than likely, it was the very typical yet predictable, ability to say what they can with impunity.

It is reality that Obama can’t retort or he will be seen as attacking America’s Ideal. Won’t play well. Not in America.

Rove’s wink and nod in GQ plus tips, seals the deal for this Washington insider . While Rove ( wink) wouldn’t go on record, no doubt his non-on the record endorsement brings it to the fore. But then he didn’t get the memo this week, he still referred to him as arrogant.

Well Mr. Rove we had been waiting on you . You didn’t disappoint. Now we watch the dog and pony show.

At least these code words are nicer than the ones in the past.

Don’t Sleep.

  1. I see that same Obama arrogance in his supporters. Several have responded to
my comments saying they are an attorney or law student. They picked the wrong
    person to pick on.

  3. Are you referring to this:

“Sometimes I wonder if some white Republicans actually believe that black people in this country have no reason to feel any anger or alienation at times.”

    Have you read my blog?
I have addressed the great evil of slavery which has affected all the skin colors throughout history. My ancestors were not royalty (to my knowledge). My ancestors had no easy time of it. Slavery was common in the Bristish Isles and Africa not too far back. Get over it. This happened to our ancestors. Quit using it as an excuse. Rememeber, in this country, it was mostly lighter skinned people that fought and died to end slavery.

  4. NO I have not read your blog.
I couldn’t find it. I would like to however. Please refrain from assuming you know my intent. Andrew Sullivan gives a different viewpoint. I am not sure what it is I am to get over but your prior comment about Obama supporters was confusing. I am more than willing to discuss what I wrote if that somehow was your reason for comment.
In any event,Thank you for your comments.

  5. I was aiming for clarification and making a
    statement at the same time.
    Did not mean to offend.
